How the Wardzo score works
How Wardzo calculates the overall 0–100 score, the Security, SEO health and Uptime sub-scores, severity weights and letter grades.
Sub-scores
Each category (Security, SEO health and Uptime) starts at 100. Every finding subtracts points based on its severity:
| Severity | Points |
|---|---|
| Critical | 35 |
| High | 20 |
| Medium | 8 |
| Low | 3 |
| Info | 0 |
A sub-score never goes below 0.
Overall score
The overall score is a weighted average:
Overall = 50% Security + 35% SEO health + 15% Uptime
Grades
| Grade | Score |
|---|---|
| A | 90–100 |
| B | 80–89 |
| C | 65–79 |
| D | 50–64 |
| F | below 50 |
Why scores can change without you changing anything
Certificates approach expiry, response times vary and third-party scripts change. Weekly re-scans exist to catch exactly that.
