Alerts and emails

Which emails Wardzo sends about your sites (issue alerts, downtime and recovery alerts, the weekly digest), how often, and how to change or turn them off.

Wardzo emails you only when something changed. Every email has a link to your alert settings and a one-click unsubscribe.

Issue alerts

After each scheduled scan, Wardzo compares the result with the previous scan. You get an alert when:

  • a new critical or high finding appears, or an existing finding becomes critical or high, or
  • your overall score drops by 10 points or more.

Scans you start yourself (from the dashboard or through the MCP server) do not send alerts, because you already see the result.

Downtime and recovery alerts

Wardzo checks your homepage on your plan's uptime interval (every 15 minutes on Free). When a check fails, we check again one minute later. Only when the second check fails too do we send a down alert. When the site responds again you get a recovery alert with how long it was down.

Weekly digest

Every Monday morning you get one email for all your sites: current score and weekly change, new and resolved issues, uptime over 7 days and the top open issues.

Limits

To protect your inbox, Wardzo sends at most 3 issue alerts and 6 downtime or recovery alerts per site per day, and at most 40 alerts per account per day.

Change or turn off emails

  • In your dashboard, open Alerts & account to change the address alerts go to and turn issue alerts or the weekly digest on or off.
  • Every email has a settings link that works without logging in, and supports one-click unsubscribe in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail.

Alerts are sent only after you confirm your email address. Login emails are always sent when you ask for them.
